All about me
When I was growing up and taking part in every drama production going (and acting just as dramatically off stage!), my parents said that they were convinced I was practicing for something… they just weren’t sure what.
As soon as I stepped foot in a commercial production studio I knew what all those years had been leading to… voiceovering!
It took me a while to discover this, though, and in the meantime I’d worked for the helpline of a local radio station, both on and off air; travelled to India and Nepal whilst working for a jewellery wholesaler; and even answered phones for the AA.
It was when I started working for an independent commercial production company, though, that I found my niche. For some time I was in-house voiceover, scriptwriter, voice-booker, admin assistant and general Jane of all trades. Eventually I took a leap of faith, set up a home studio, and have now been voicing solo for over a decade.
I believe my background in commercial production gives me a fuller understanding of the total process that I’m just a small part of… so I work hard to be reliable, flexible, cheerful, and generally do everything I can to make my clients life easier!
